Second Project Rattlesnake Knot Lanyard1.22.11

Well, my daughter had to have pink paracord, so I got her the pink and made her a few different bracelets, lanyards and key chain fobs. Here is my first attempt at making a Rattlesnake Knot lanyard. This knot was fairly simple to do, and only took me about 10 min. to complete.

My first piece... 1.22.11

Here is my first piece I created on 1.22.11. I had just ordered a few colors of cord, and was anxious to create some knots over the weekend and didn't know when the order would come in. So on Saturday I went down to the local Army & Navy shop and bought a few colors to get started. I decided to try out one of the styles from Stormdrane , which I thought I would really like on my Kershaw auto-assist knife. It was the Cross Knot, finished off with a lanyard knot. I spaced each knot out with about a 1" spacing. Here is how it turned out.

Welcome to Project Paracord by Don

Hey, and welcome to Project Paracord. I figured since I am now addicted to paracord projects, I would finally make a blog and post all of my works, and new things I am working on.

I really must start off by showing much respect to an individual who has taught me almost everything I know about knot tying, and he doesn't even know it. His name is STORMDRANE. Everywhere you look on the net for anything that pertains to paracord knots and tying, you will find him showing off his works, or you'll see him on youtube giving the best detailed instructional video on how to tie a specific knot. So my hat is off to you STORMDRANE, and thanks for everything ! :o) His Blog is located at http://stormdrane.blogspot.com .

More later. Need to collect all of my photos and post them. see ya soon. ~Don
